26th WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME - SATURDAY

O
n this day of the Season of Creation, Jesus rejoices that the Father reveals his wisdom to the little ones. Laudato Si’ calls for an "ecological education" that forms young people in "solidarity, responsibility and compassionate care.” Let us pray that our learning, especially in the digital world, may serve people and creation.

Response: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER.
Alternative: LORD, GUIDE US IN WISDOM.
  1. That Church leaders, families, educators, and institutions may work together so that technology always serves human dignity. Let us pray to the Lord.
  2. That government leaders may uphold truth, counter fake news, and promote responsible mass communication that respects and safeguards people’s mental well-being. Let us pray to the Lord.
  3. That schools may teach young people to use technology critically, discerning whose interests it serves and what values it promotes. Let us pray to the Lord.
  4. That students may be protected from digital dependency, consumerism, and technologies that degrade their human dignity and freedom.  Let us pray to the Lord.
  5. That those who have died because of cyberbullying, online abuse, or technology-related harm may enter God’s eternal peace. Let us pray to the Lord.
Father, give us the wisdom of the little ones, that knowledge may become compassionate care. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
